Adrian has had great success as an actor following his training at Hurtwood and LAMDA. TV, Radio and theatre credits include Doctors and a long spell at the National Theatre including productions of Battle Royal, Sladek, Wicked Problems, A Sexual Congress and Albert Speer directed by Trevor Nunn, with whom he also worked in the 2001 TV adaptation of the Merchant of Venice.
He is also an acomplished playwright and his plays are often heard on Radio 4. His debut play for radio The Waterbucks was nominated for a Richard Imerson Award and his other plays include Onysos the Wild, The Road to Calvary, A Man Cut in Slices,The Mouse House and a BBC comission, a modern adaptation of Balzac's 'The Wild Ass's Skin', which was shortlisted for the Prix Italia 2011.
He is currently working on two new commissions with the BBC, a Saturday play called "One Train May be Hiding Another" and a Woman's Hour serial, an adaptation of "Une Vie" by Maupassant, both due for broadcast around June/July.
