As a theatre performer, Alana’s credits included Frenchy & Rizzo in Grease (Piccadilly Theatre), Dominique/Resident Director in The Bratz Passion for Fashion Tour (UK Tour), Vittoraa in Maid of Mountains (Finborough Theatre), Annette & Stephanie in Saturday Night Fever (Apollo Victoria), We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre), Annette & Doreen in the UK Tour of Saturday Night Fever and Virus, Princess Julia & Kim in the West End production of Taboo (The Venue).
Alana is now a freelance makeup artist based in London working extensively both in fashion and for televison. Credits include Let’s Dance for Comic Relief, Strictly Come Dancing, Strictly It Takes Two, Strictly Dance Fever, Britannia High, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Paul O’Grady Show, Blue Peter, The Antiques Roadshow, the Southbank Show, Sky News, Children In Need and on the film God’s Wounds (RSA Films). Alana has also worked as a makeup artist on music videos by Lady Sovereign, Badly Drawn Boy, and The Kills. Recently she was makeup designer for Sadie Frost's one woman play Touched at the Trafalgar Studios.
Alana runs her own business specialising in makeup lessons and personal makeovers, as well working with several celebrity clients for various high profile events.
