Emily was at Hurtwood 2000-2001 and then studied at LAMDA. Whilst there she was offered and went on to play the lead in the ITV thriller ‘Bon Voyage’. Since then she has worked extensively in television, film and theatre. Films include ‘The Calling’ in which she stars alongside Brenda Blethyn. ‘28 Weeks Later’’, ‘Rise Of The Footsoldier’. She is about to shoot horror/comedy ‘The Basement’ alongside Danny Dyer, Kierston Waering and Louis Winston due release May 2010. This year she won Edinburgh International Film Festival Skillset Trailblazer Award 2009 as an emerging talent for outstanding and innovative work.
Television Includes: Tess Of The D’Urbervilles, Unforgiven , Party Animals, Miss Marple, Afterlife. Most recently, Emily played a leading part in BAFTA award winning Jimmy McGovern series The Street.
Emily also writes and performs comedy in a double act called The Timecats who have just collaborated with the infamous ‘Phil McIntyre Entertainment’ who represent other comedy acts such as Mighty Boosh, Russell Brand, Little Britain etc. They will be performing at various dates in London and throughout the year.
