George Orange

George studied Technical Theatre and Set Construction at RADA. After RADA he predominantly worked at Bowerwood’s in Guildford, who are known for building high quality theatre sets. 
Having a greater interest in the metal elements of scenery drew him towards setting up his own very successful fabrication and blacksmith workshop. However, after working in one too many damp fields mending estate fencing, he returned to theatre and Bowerwoods, before returning to RADA to become Deputy Head of Construction, predominantly teaching the metal elements of scenery building and engineering.
He has now founded Clockwork Scenery, creating high-end hand crafted scenery for a variety of clients, from theatres to exhibitions, TV to film. See their website here.
