Indra Shepherd (Visiting Dance Tutor)

Indra’s career has been incredibly varied from dancing with the Vienna State Opera to performing in Lion King the musical. She trained at the English National Ballet School and the School of American Ballet in New York gaining performance skills that she used for 13 years across Europe. She has performed in productions of Romeo and Juliet, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Giselle. After her time in these ballet companies Indra performed in many different Jazz gala shows across Egypt, Turkey, Germany and Switzerland. She has been a featured dancer with many different pop stars and is often being seen on MTV and VIVA. Indra performed on Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for the recent UK Tour and after completing this contract decided to gain her qualifications to teach dance. She successfully completed her PDTD Dip RAD course and gained her ARAD. Most recently Indra successfully completed her PGCE in Dance. She is extremely passionate about inspiring and developing the next generation of young dancers.
