Lara Pulver (Visiting Dance Tutor)

Lara is one of our visiting Dance tutors but is also a major West End & TV star. She studied dance & musical theatre at the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts and has since worked successfully as an actress, singer and dancer in major musicals in the West End, on national tours and in regional theatres including productions of High Society, The Boyfriend, Miss Saigon and The Last Five Years. She was nominated for a 'Whatsonstage' Theatregoers Choice Award and the Olivier Award for 'Best Actress in a Musical' for her performance as Lucille Frank in the Donmar Warehouse production of Parade in 2008. In that year Lara also recorded a number for the CD "Act One - Songs from the Musicals of Alexander S. Bermange", released by Dress Circle Records.
Lara can be seen as Isabella, Guy of Gisbourne's sister, the BBC's series of Robin Hood, and has since moved to LA to play the role of Claudia in True Blood. She is also starring in the latest series of "Spooks".
