MUSIC TECHNOLOGY

Academically, the school’s music focus is on Music Technology.

We have one of the best-equipped and highest achieving departments in the country, with 4 purpose-built digital recording studios including 2 Pro Tools systems with Control 24 mixing surfaces.

Students also have the opportunity to hone their skills as part of the professional sound crew for productions, working on sound design, and using professional mixing desks, microphones and other equipment.

THE HURTWOOD ALBUM

Performance and technical skills are joined together in the Hurtwood Album. Students collaborate to produce a CD album of some of the best Hurtwood can offer. Listen to examples in our Music Gallery.
