Paul Bown (Theatre Staff)

Although Paul has an Arts degree, he went straight into acting and has been working successfully for around 25 years. He starred in the two popular TV comedy series Watching and The Last Salute and was seen recently with David Jason in Diamond Geezer. He has appeared in many one-off dramas for TV and 'guested' in most of the major TV Dramas incuding Heartbeat, The Bill, Casualty, Holby City, Peak Practice and Last Of The Summer Wine. Paul’s film appearances include the acclaimed adaptation Jude, The Assam Garden, Butterfly Kiss, Underworld and Morons from Outer Space. His West End appearances include The Gambler, The Alchemist, On The Piste and the Birmingham Rep’s production of Neville’s Island. There are also a number of radio dramas to his credit.
